For more than 45 years, our firm has protected many of the world's most prominent public figures, led protection details for high-level executives, and is a National Security service provider.
GDBA has trained and certified public figure protection specialists, including professionals from the FBI, DEA, ATF, Department of State, among others. Until recently, this type of training was only offered to select professionals within these agencies.
In 2026 we will be expanding training opportunities to corporate entities, State agencies, and private security teams. We’ve thoughtfully created a two-day training course focused on Anti-Assassination Strategies.
Practitioners First
Training is led by Instructors who are practitioners first—these professionals have worked in hundreds of countries, across a variety of environments, and have provided more than one million hours of protective coverage. First-Class Facility
Our purpose-built facility includes dedicated training environments such as a state-of-the-art gym, simulated stage and event pick-up and drop-off environments, a jet fuselage, a padded room, etc. Trainees have the option for a full-immersion experience where they can live in on-site barracks with access to fitness facilities.
Real-World Application
Every attack happens at the same time – NOW. To prepare effectively, a Protector must practice simulations so actions are instinctive when it matters most. Trainees will participate in real-world scenarios that make every lesson come to life.

Certifications
Graduates of this course will leave as more proficient, confident, and prepared Protectors—and will earn an official certificate of completion.
Attackers rely on the ACE—
access, cover, and escape.
We train Protectors to control access, deny cover, and secure escape for the Protectee—reducing the chance of a successful attack.
Attendance is limited and selective so that all trainees get substantial time to perform and interact with the Instructors and each other. Class typically includes 15 or fewer trainees.
Upon receiving a request for Registration, our Training Committee will review the submission and advise whether your request to attend is approved.

Tuition costs include lodging; some meals; course programs; required equipment; instructor costs; copies of The Gift of Fear and Just 2 Seconds; and a Certificate of Completion.

Partial Scholarship
Our Training Committee occasionally allocates funds each year to provide training opportunities to deserving organizations. To learn more about a partial scholarship, please email contactus@gdba.com.
Reduced Rate for Groups
If a single organization sends 3 or more trainees, all attendees will receive a 10% reduction.
